In February, Orban was the last EU member to agree to a 50-billion-euro aid package for Ukraine, which had previously been blocked by a potential Hungarian veto.

At the conclusion of Orban's visit to Kiev, Zelensky's response to his proposal for an immediate ceasefire to expedite peace talks remains unclear.
